Taskonomy is an all-in-one agency workspace at taskonomy.app: project management software, task management, time tracking, CRM, attendance and leave (light HR), messaging, docs, and agency finance — with flat organization pricing for SMBs. It is a product of Brain Gig LLC.
Is Taskonomy the Stanford computer vision research project?
No. Taskonomy at taskonomy.app is business SaaS (project management, CRM, time tracking) from Brain Gig LLC. It is not related to the Stanford University computer vision research project that shares the name.
What does the Taskonomy app include?
Live modules include projects and tasks, time tracking, CRM, attendance and leave, workspace messaging, team docs, and agency finance/invoices — one login with flat organization pricing.
Is Taskonomy CRM software?
Yes. Sales CRM (companies, contacts, deals, client meetings) is in the live product surface. Plan availability may apply — see Pricing.
Is Taskonomy HRM or HR software?
It includes attendance and leave modules (including biometric-ready paths) plus light people ops like notices and advances. It is not a full HRMS or payroll product — payroll is on the roadmap.
Is Taskonomy a project management or time tracking tool?
Both. Projects/tasks and timers live in the same workspace so delivery and hours stay connected — useful for agencies and SMB teams.
Is Taskonomy priced per seat?
No. Plans are flat for the organization. Seat caps apply (for example Free includes up to 3 people). You are not charged per user by default the way ClickUp, Asana, or monday.com typically bill.
What do I get on Free?
A limited workspace to try the product — typically dashboard, projects, tasks, and calendar with tight caps on seats, projects, and storage (about 50 MB). See Pricing for the live plan list.
Do paid plans include a trial?
Yes. Starter and Growth offer a 7-day trial with no card required. When the trial ends you move to Free unless you upgrade.
How does storage work?
File storage is capped by plan (for example Free ~50 MB, Starter 2 GB, Growth 25 GB). Higher tiers may raise or remove the cap — exact limits are on Pricing and in Billing. Uploads that would exceed the cap are blocked with an upgrade prompt.
Do you replace ClickUp/Asana/monday.com completely?
Not for every team. Those products are strong general PM tools (and several include time tracking on paid tiers). Taskonomy is a better fit when you also want flat org pricing plus light attendance/leave and agency finance in one place.
Does attendance support biometric devices?
Yes. Taskonomy supports multi-vendor attendance methods, including native ZKTeco ADMS device sync and webhook ingest for other vendors.
Do you include payroll?
No. Payroll is on the roadmap and not in the live product surface. Loans/advances and leave are light people-ops features — not a payroll engine.
Do messages send push notifications on mobile?
Yes, when you install the Taskonomy PWA and enable notifications in Settings. DMs and channel posts can reach the device in the background.
Who is Taskonomy for?
Small and medium businesses, startups, and delivery studios that want projects, time, and light ops together — without per-seat tax as the default pricing model.

See our Refund Policy. Free trials have no charge to refund; cancel before a trial ends if you don’t want to pay. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled at period end; refund and consumer withdrawal rules are in the Refund Policy.
